I was initially looking for a standing desk but that would mean changing up my entire setup so I opted for this desk converter. This was the slimmest one I could find to meet my desk requirements and it fits perfectly!I got the grey wood colour. The colour is as advertised in the picture and very well made. I have it extended nearly all the way up and it’s very sturdy. There is a bit of ‘play’ or slight wobble when I put a little force on the keyboard tray but that is expected and I’m not worried in the slightest.My monitor is a little on the heavier side, about 15-20 pounds so when I use the release lever on the desk, the weight of the monitor sends it all the way down very fast. So be careful if your monitor is a bit heavy. To rise, I have to manually lift it up because of the weight. However, it slides up and down freely and easily. I just hope the mechanism (wire cable) doesn’t fail me down the road, otherwise it will not be able to go back up.All in all, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to others. Wish I had gotten this sooner!
