This is a great desktop for the money, but there is one criticism that I have. I'm comparing this to Uplift bamboo desktops which are basically double the price. The only complaint I have is that these desktops aren't adequately varnished/lacquered for long term wear and tear. I don't know how long this table will last, but it woul be nice to have more protectant on the surface. Uplift's bamboo desktops have more surface protectant, but that's where the functional differences stop. In order to fit to my Uplift frame, I had to drill holes, but I expected that when buying this.
