Definitely bigger then expected which isn’t a problem. I was hoping for something smaller but it’s a good desk!A few thoughts and notes on this folding desk (not sure why it isn't showing available for purchase as I type this, only other options/styles, but mine is pictured and the same as many other reviews and pics I'm seeing).1. Mine arrived with a bit of shipping damage on the main part, the large flat wood surface. I contacted the vendor and they IMMEDIATELY shipped me a replacement (I wasn't expecting another entire desk, but that's what they did!). I had it by FedEx by the end of same week. OUTSTANDING and y'all know that doesn't always happen, let alone the multiple emails/responses and overall great communication.2. Assembly was a bit tedious and long, and not something someone feeble could do, but that is due to the wonderful solid and heavy construction and excellent design. Mine took 1.5-2 hours, but I also was meticulous and making sure everything was done right and to my satisfaction.3. The design and compactness/foldability were crucial to me, and I couldn't be more satisfied. I both needed something that would fit my 2 portable monitors (2nd tier as seen on the pic), but also folded flat for storage, since space is at a premium at my house, and I only work from home 2 days a week.All in all, a fantastic purchase, product, and vendor, and I won't hesitate to recommend this or them to anyone. ThanksSome of the holes didnt line up like they should have. Followed the picture instructions like it showed so idk where i went wrong but 2 left over screws that would not go in. And the frame for the top will not stay in like its supposed to. Foot pieces were awful and i can not get them in properly. Over all its still beautiful and we made it work.All I had to do was unfold the desk. Desk arrived well packed and intact. The top shelf adds valuable space.I do like this desk a lot for my resin projects. The down fall is I have to level it with small pieces of wood etc to keep it level. The plastic feet do not sit inside very well and to try and level it by unscrewing them makes them become loose and really throws the desk off when trying to level it that way.Couldn’t be happier with this desk. It is so versatile and the perfect size for my daughter’s bedroom. This would also work well as a work from home office desk. Assembly was a little daunting because it comes with so many pieces, but everything is labeled and bagged to make it easier to figure out. Give yourself at least an hour for assembly and you will need a screw driver or rachet bit set for the first part, but everything else is done using the allen wrench provided.This is a really sturdy desk and has a good weight to it. It looks modern and sophisticated. Surpassed my expectations!This desk was was a steal and it should have been straightforward but it had previous damage to the poles so it made for a very difficult assembly. I'm usually pretty good putting things together but this beat me. I didn't want to send it back and paying for the assembly was double what i paid for it so it is what it is.I seriously love this little desk! My husband and I shared a desk prior to WFH. He began WFH before I did so naturally he took over our original desk and I was demoted to the dining room table, our sun room, or any other surface I could find. This fall, I started law school and needed a space of my own for homework and the occasional Zoom class. We didn’t have a ton of space in our already cramped basement/family room/office so this is absolutely perfect! It has so much room for all of my essentials, it’s a nice compliment for nearly any decor, was super easy to assemble, and it’s surprisingly study for a foldable desk. Very impressed!
