Easy to assemble by myself, and sturdy. The side shelves make it easy to use this as my home office desk, with room for a Epson V600 Photo Scanner, 2 portable hard-drives and a 27" monitor on the base shelves, and room for my other needs on the 3 other shelves.Once finally put together, this is a great desk for the price. Lots of space, good quality of materials. The shelves are a bit flimsier than I had hoped, but that mainly only worries me because my 12 lb cat may jump on it. It should be fine for the purposes of using a desk normally.Biggest tip: Do NOT try to put this together by yourself. Such a pain in the as$, it took me over 3 hours. Also, listen to the directions when it says not to screw everything tight immediately.We now have 2 of these desks at home. It provides ample storage for a small space. I searched desks for months because of the odd sized area I was fitting it into. I've had mine over a year and the 2nd unit for my grandaughter (who didn't think she had room for a desk). I'm really sold on this economical little piece of furniture!bought 2 units, first one was exactly as described, great value and great looking, easy assembly, 2nd unit had some scratches on desk top, not as happy with this unit, giving 5 stars based on first unitA couple things to note, this desk is a little complicated to assemble, the surface area and headset hooks are a bit narrow. This desk comes in quite a few pieces and the instructions are not the best. It’s mostly a pictorial instruction set and could use some more written instructions to make things easier. As for the surface area the shelves are narrower than I expected but it still has barely enough space for my needs. The main desk has just enough room for my monitor and keyboard but you’re going to definitely want this against a wall as theres barely room to spare and my monitor does hang off the back a bit to compensate. Now for the good stuff, this desk is solid. It’s not the most sturdy thing ever but for a diy cheap desk it’s awesome. If you tighten everything down just right the desk hardly moves. The wood is fairly dense and the finish is beautiful. It comes with hole covers so if you’re not liking the industrial look you can cover up the excess screw holes. Those extra screw holes are somewhat plentiful as this desk is customizable, you can adjust the side and height of the shelving unit to meet your needs. Honestly very happy with this desk but buyer beware you might have to clear an evening to assemble it.As advertised, great color, easy to put together, able to do by myself. Sturdy, dimensions accurate, fits where I wanted to place it.Super happy with the desk. Assembly took about an hour but was really straight forward. Everything is sturdy and well made. No damage upon arrival. Only complaint I had is the labels on the wood should be more wood friendly so it peels off easily but nothing that som iso won’t take care of. Over all I give it a 10/10.The quality was much better than I expected it to be. My son needed a corner desk for his bedroom and it works perfectly. I assembled it myself with ease and it’s very sturdy!Product is very flimsy and unstable. Bottom two shelves are sagging even without anything on them after the second day after assembling the desk. Absolutely could not store books on these shelves or anything heavy like a printer. They would surely sag immensely and break. The desk is very unstable and wobbly. Even knocking it with my computer chair makes the whole thing wobble. Even placing something on the desktop or one of the shelves makes the whole thing wobble. Tried adjusting the height of the feet multiple times. Would be a nice desk maybe if you replaced the shelves with wood or better particle board or even added an extra brace up the middle. As is, using the desk is fine for a laptop and to maybe put some lightweight decorative items on the shelf but absolutely not functional to use as a student or in a home office when you might want to use the shelves for books or files. Absolutely something you’ll need to replace in a year or less. Might hold up for a semester in a dorm room but so would a sturdy cardboard box. Save your money.This is a fabulous desk for the price: functional, sturdy, stylish in an industrial way, with lots of room to store things while fitting into a small space.HOWEVER, one of the support bars underneath the main desk table is missing the required threaded insert for a screw.... so I had to temporarily fix it myself with an L bracket.EDIT: seller is shipping me a new piece! Will update review when it arrivesEDIT #2: Seller replaced the piece at no extra cost! They resolved the problem very quickly. Great service.I got this desk as a larger desk for school, as my prior desk was just large enough for my laptop(it's a 17" laptop, so yeah). So this desk has great size and functionality, from what I have seen in the 2 weeks of use, it is a very sturdy desk with ample storage space(I would personally like more, but I am taking a legal course in school and I have a lot of books from it that I use every day) that is in a very convenient location for quick access and storage.I would honestly recommend getting this desk for the 200 or so dollars that you would spend. It is from what I have seen worth it... just see if you can someone to help you put the shelves in... It would make the entire process so much easier and faster(I assembled it by myself, so it is possible, just very tedious to do).But if you have space for a 45" or so desk, I would highly recommend getting it, as it is defiantly worth it so far.Instructions could have been more detailed but it wasn't difficult to follow along.You can tell just how "sturdy" it is going to be just by looking at the pictures when you order it. Still, we were not disappointed in it. My wife wanted a small desk for her laptop, printer, and some books and is really happy with this purchase.
